Individually, none of your symptoms looked worrying - certainly I'd have crossed them off my worry list quite quickly, it's the whole episode when linked together that's concerning. Get well soon and take a rest from the bike - you'll be back in no time!

I've got some old tat you're welcome to - unbranded things that came on my first cheap mtb.
They must be better than the carbon / branded ones those lot up there are trying to offload.

Cable the wrong side of the clamp bolt in the rear mech, effectively reducing the cable pull per click...

Or the DIY approach. Probably would cost £100 in paint, plus decals, but good results can happen with some careful preparation
