Bike Boxes and Rome Airport
Morning, Planning the Wolf's Lair for next summer and looking into the logistics... Has anyone either stored bike boxes in the Rome Airport left luggage or purchased/acquired boxes in the near vicinity? When we did Turin/Nice we had the option to buy boxes at Nice airport, but not seeing anything si...

Re: NW Slovenia Route Options
Yeah the top part of the route (Bled -> Soca Valley) is based on the Slovenia route on that site, wondered if there was any more "Local knowledge" to be had for the other sections...whitestone wrote:Any on this page http://www.bikepacking.com/locations/europe/ any use?

NW Slovenia Route Options
I'm looking at a few days (up to 5ish) this summer in Slovenia and have started stitching together some GPX from various sites, but I'm worried it's all looking a bit road-based: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Ah2OrKn-3xdtF6gg2cGKaAHWENjEJV90&usp=sharing Anyone got any route options around th...

Fitting a Wildcat Lion
Hi all, I've got a wildcat lion for my bar roll, but not sure I'm fitting it right as it gradually rotates/slides down, especially on rougher ground, so the bag ends up rubbing on the tyre, and I have to stop to hoist, reposition and tighten everything... I did have the instructions somewhere to doub...

Turin - Nice for the Time Impaired
Hi, 3 of us are planning the Turin-Nice rally route (or an approximation of it) at the start of July...however we only have 5 days of riding available to us due to other commitments/life etc. Given I reckon we have ~100km/day in us over the 5 days what can we realistically hope to achieve? Does anyo...

Is this still for sale?
Couple of questions:
Where is it?
How tall are you? (6'4" would be ok for a 60cm frame I think?)
Can I see some photos?
Cheers!

They're just text files, so providing you know the order you can just append one onto the next in text editor (eg notepad++ )

Velodyssey GPX
Hi All, I'm looking at the GPX files for the Velodyssey (West coast France route here - http://www.velodyssey.com/la-velodyssee/gps-tracklog) and I want to make some edits to them. I've normally done this in GPS Track Editor, but as there are large chunks of timestamps missing from the downloaded GP...

No problem - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2499866/onlinepics/EdBivvyLoop.gpx Although the 3rd pic makes it all look a bit more dramatic than it is in reality, that's a really short section just coming out from Foggintor Quarry before you join the old tramway. It's really quite a sedate trip (...
