Re: Substitute for chamois creme

I’ve been ruminating on what everyone is putting down there pants... That's a nice image  What’s probably most important is having a healthy barse during long bouts of cycling is hygiene. Clean and air your undercarriage regularly. Clean your shorts/pants/etc regularly. Choose shorts to reduc...

Re: Substitute for chamois creme

Cheap and cheerful stuff available from anywhere like Boots is Conotrane, bed sore cream that's much better for pressure sores than Sudocrem and costs about £1.50 a 100ml tube.

Re: sold Borah Gear Side Zip Argon 90 standard Bivy

Question for borah bivvy owners: regular length is billed as "up to 6ft tall". Is this about right and at 6'2" I would be well advised to go for a long length one, or if I am happy in confined spaces I might get away with a regular?

Re: Wtd - rear wheel (29er non-boost)

I have two options for you, one cheap and one more expensive.

The pricey one is a DT EX 471 rim (25mm internal) on a 40t Hope Pro 2 Evo hub that can come 135 QR.

The other cheap one is a well used P35 rim (30mm internal) on a QR SLX hub.

Pm if interested in either.

Spot tracker - free (if you feed the bear)

God knows how long I've had this but I've found what I think is a Mk1 Spot tracker languishing in a box.

Bought or given to me second hand, never used so no idea whether it works.

Feed a fiver to the bear and I'll post it to you.

I do most years, but with a young family I've only managed to whole 500km about 2 out of the last 5?6? years.

Road bike though, haven't got the time to do the distance off-road.

No 9spd stuff to offer, but I'm doing the same for my son and it's proved easier to go 10spd than try and source 9spd parts. He's going to be running a Saint thumb shifter FFS!
