dont fancy building up another pair of wheels for torino rally,so what are my options for tyre choice running a 50mm wide rim,i have 3 inch maxxis chronicles but they could be a bit overkill for the road climbs but perfect for coming down.found a 2.8 veetire speedster slick dimpled tread. just think...

i carry a spare freehub body, as i bust one last week,i managed to weave a gear cable through the largest sprocket and around the spokes to get me home. the wheels are the most important part of the bike so just carry stuff to fix them,you can still do a fred flinstone if your gear bust but how do y...

so this is my plan have 12 days vacation,stay in turin night before the start,leave my bike bag at hotel,ride to nice.
ride back to turin along the country roads is this possible.

Just deciding on what lights to take.correct me if I'm wrong are we looking to ride for 6 to 7 hours in darkness on the Friday night/sat morning.how many hours of night riding on Sat.
I can get full burn for 6 hours :mrgreen:

Matt, have you considered doing something like the Torino-Nice? Certainly not an 'organised' trip by any means but chances are you'd probably have company should you fancy. If you feel the need to explore, then a supported trip might limit you if you want to do something in particular?
