I’m up for this and will be camping on Friday night as well. What time are you thinking of meeting on Friday evening?

Re: City

It’s a bit of a slog from City up onto the Kerry ridgeway, but it’s a nice area for riding and there are loads of spots up there for a night under the stars. You might have to put up with the odd illegal rave, but apart from that, it’s pretty quiet. Some of the fire roads in Ceri forest are blocked ...

Daffodils contain galantamine, which apparently slows the progression of Alzheimers. They’ve been growing daffodils for quite a while for this.

Re: Come on Wales !!!

I’m not on Twitter anymore either as it can be an unholy arsepit at times and (all too frequently) brings out the misogynists and trolls. I do accept that It’s a fine line between asking the difficult questions and badgering someone to get a reaction. I often question the value of post match questio...

Re: Come on Wales !!!

If she didn’t ask the difficult questions, she wouldn’t being doing her job, so no, she wasn’t terrible in my opinion. Farrell was almost petulant in his responses considering players get media training. And to describe her ‘having a bit of a meltdown’ is quite derogatory considering the amount of a...

Re: MoJo

I had ‘it’ once, then lost it and despite a few forced attempts, it never really came back. I’ve gone back to my original love of hillwalking and that’s helped me enormously in the last few years. I still have all the kit I need, but just can’t quite bring myself to sell everything in the hope ‘it’ ...

Re: The Acepac luggage I mentioned.

Thanks all, very useful.

I wonder if a ‘Huddersfield bag of chips’ should be now used as a measurement unit for all bikepacking luggage?

Re: The Acepac luggage I mentioned.

I’m struggling to find any reviews on Acepac on the internet, but the consensus on here sounds like it’s good kit. Any further thoughts gratefully received before I push the button.

Re: bikepacking in the Elan Valley

It did felt like selling the dream rather than telling a story to people who have lived and breathed the reality of that dream. Nowt wrong with making a video like that to fund a lifestyle of cycling as long as you are reasonably clear that that’s what you’re doing which the hyperlinks and look at ...
