Re: Solstice plans?
Work today and then watching a load of blokes kick a ball of air on the telly tonight.
Do need to get out soon though even if it's just for an overnight. Last weekend's road/Sustrans tour from Edinburgh to Newcastle isn't as fun as a proper off road adventure..

Postman didn't bring it but today's new arrival. So looking forward to being able to chuck a bike in it without faffing around with a rack!

Re: Single ring experiment, would this be daft?
I've recently gone from a triple (10 speed) to a single front ring with a sunrace 11-42 cassette and a 32T front ring. Whilst I like the minimal weight saving and low fuss, I wouldn't rush to do it, especially if it means a mishmash of bits. I don't think the benefits are that great. The best thing ...

Stooge EBB
Having seen a few Stooges on here, Stu's review and the massive thread on STW., I'm very tempted to get a frame and transfer all the bits over from my current 29er. One thing that confuses me though is how does the EBB work? I currently have hollowtech bottom bracket and crankset. Do the cups just s...

Re: Clips or flats?
I started off on spds for mountain biking as that's what my father in law had. He got be into mountain biking so I assumed that's what everyone used. I got into road biking pretty heavily so continued to use clipless pedals. Last year I got a decent full suspension bike and made the switch to flats....

Good effort!
I'd planned on touring it this weekend but had to cancel my train tickets after crashing and picking up a knee injury a couple of weeks ago.
I'd planned to do it over 2-3 days so nothing like your crazy schedule. Will probably wait until September now...
